8) Tetra - LoZWW
Zelda, as Peach, is constantly getting captured, and is annoying as hell. I love the Tetra side of Zelda, though! So much sass, and she's a captain of a pirate crew. She takes charge of things, and is still technically a princess on the inside, it's just great.
7) Krystal - Star Fox series
First off... is Krystal truly a princess? I consider her one personally, since she wears that crown thing on her head, and refers to those who inhabit the same world as her as 'her people'. Krystal is telepathic, and uses a magic staff to fight, which makes her pretty awesome! The only reason she's not higher up on the list is because i'm not exactly sure if she even qualifies as a princess.
6) Luvbi - Super Paper Mario
Luvbi is an adorable heart-shaped angel of the over-there in probably the worst Mario game in history, next to that dumb Mario golf game. Despite the fact that the game sucks, Luvbi's one of my favorite mario characters next to Vivian. I mean, what's cooler than your parents being the rulers of heaven and hell?! Well, obviously anyone I've listed higher than her... but still!
5) Ruto - LoZOoT
The adorable Zora girl form the past turns out to be a beautiful princess seven years later. She's a sage, and protects the element stone of the goddess Nayru. She can also swim and breath underwater! I think that's pretty cool...
4) Witch Princess - HMDSC
The adorable little troublemaker is always causing problems for the harvest goddess, and for the people in the village! She can make animals die, crops whither, and poison people into sickness. Although she's not an amazing ninja-princess like some of the others, she's still got some bad-ass powers.
3) Claudia Donovan - Fortress 13
Okay, fine, whatever! So since it's not actually a 'game' you can play, she's not technically a video game princess. WHATEVER! She's still in a video game as a princess, and she's got all the qualities of one! She's beautiful, she gets rescued at the end of the game, she's beautiful, she's beautiful... well, you get the point. I just couldn't-not put her on the list, you know?
2) Blaze - Sonic Rush
A princess in an alternate universe from that of Sonic's. She has power over fire, and is really fast! She is the protector of the Sol emeralds in her world, as well as a scepter which has super amazing power! Plus, she's playable. Next to Krystal, you can't ever play as any of these video game princesses, so Blaze being a kick-ass princess AND a character option is means for the top of the list in my book.
1) Midna - LoZTP
The devious, dark, and care-free princess of the Twili. The twilight princess herself, Midna, is truely the number-one video game princess of all time. Her behavior is just so... playful! As if she doesn't ever take anything seriously, yet inside we all know she cares for the betterment of not only her people, but those in the other world as well. She can turn into a shadow, and fly. I figure once you can do that, what else do you really need in life? Oh yeah, and she's able to use a rock to turn Link from human to wolf. She also is in possession of an all-powerful mask which is a symbol of power in her realm of darkness. It's forbidden magic is much stronger than any Twili could handle, nor the king himself. Over-all, there's nothing not-awesome about her<3
