The New Guy

Anubis house has a new character, and already I can tell the writer is setting him up to be with Patricia. I don't like it. Thankfully, my hate for the new guy can be channeled through as an antagonist for my fanfic!

Nina: "Orange Juice?"
Eddy: "FINALLY! Someone who speaks English!"

Seriously? As if i don't hate him enough already, they have to make him stupid too? I can get with the whole 'bad boy' thing, i just don't want him flirting with Patricia! Patricia doesn't -need- a romantic partner in the show. She needs to stay boy-free! There's just too much romance drama in the show, and they don't need to be adding this new guy.
I do have to say, though, he's much better than Mick. I didn't really care much for is side-relationship with Mara, and I find it better that the writer bring all the characters into the main issue. It hasn't happened yet, but soon everything will intertwine; the mystery with the sibling's father, the snooping around of the new house keeper... every character actually has a purpose now, rather than 'these are the characters involved in the mystery, and these are the side characters who sit around and have romance problems.'

Speaking of which, it seems like Joy's taken over that part. That winy little bitch can't focus on anything but Fabian. She's the whole reason the crew started getting hints regarding the cup of ankh in the first place. Now she's just over it? Everyone seems more interested in the book of Isis than her, or Patricia. True Patricia was only involved because of Joy's disappearance, but i feel if they're going to put Joy in the show, at least let her get involved. She has the potential to know things the others don't, she could seriously contribute some good twists to the plot line. You know, besides the fact that she's in love with Fabian.

So maybe that's why they brought this new guy in, huh? I mean, now that I'm here thinking about all this... everyone has a purpose but her. Nina Fabian Amber Victor Jasper and the new house mother are involved in the book of Isis. Mara Jarome and Poppy are dealing with the mystery of the sibling's missing father, Alphy is in a relationship with Amber, Joy wants to be in a relationship with Fabian, and Patricia... ... ...is just being Patricia? The writer could have just put her in with Sibuna, but instead they throw this new guy into the mix and now poof! One more place for the storyline to wander. That's about... four different subjects. And since the shows don't really last a full 30 minutes anyway, i think adding in a new guy was a bad choice.
